Finding Serenity in the Encounter

Birds are a source of serenity and joy. 

For me, bird photography isn't just about the "click"—it’s about patience and seasonal rhythm. Bird photography is one of the few disciplines where you have to be completely "present" while remaining "invisible." 

My photography is an attempt to non-obtrusively capture and share these moments of encounter with the avian world. Based in Northwest Pennsylvania, I find inspiration in the diverse birdlife of our region. While my lens occasionally wanders to the distant corners of the globe, my heart and my work remain rooted in the landscapes of the Great Lakes basin.
